The AI revolution is here, but for the average Bangladeshi user, it is fragmented, expensive, and inaccessible. To get the full benefits of generative AI, a user currently needs multiple expensive foreign subscriptions: one for text (ChatGPT), one for images (Midjourney), and one for research (Perplexity)—all requiring international credit cards that most citizens do not possess. Furthermore, these global models suffer from a context gap, often hallucinating when asked about local laws or culture. Our challenge was to unify this fragmented landscape. We needed to architect a single super-app ecosystem that aggregates the world's best models and creative tools into one interface, integrated with local payment gateways and grounded in a RAG system for local accuracy.

I architected and designed Desh Chat as a unified AI Super-App that eliminates the fragmentation of the current generative AI landscape. By consolidating three distinct user needs—Chat for LLMs, Studio for media generation, and Discover news and deep research—into a single, cohesive interface, I created a product ecosystem that offers 10x the value of a standard chatbot. Combined with a localized payment infrastructure, this strategy transforms high-end AI from a luxury for the few into an accessible utility for the mass market in Bangladesh.
